The 5th anniversary of DOXA x Alex Fong cooperation

Unveiling the brand new advertising images on the theme of “Living every glamorous moment”

 (25th July 2013, Hong Kong) Swiss watchmaker DOXA, with more than 120 years of history, held an extravagant press conference in the Grand Aquarium of Ocean Park with the theme of “Living Every Glamorous Moment”. During the event, the representative of DOXA announced that DOXA would continue to appoint Mr. Alex Fong, the famous actor in Hong Kong as its brand ambassador for the Asia Pacific region, and showcased the new images for the upcoming series of printed advertisements. As a brand with more than a hundred years’ fame as a diver’s watch, DOXA has always been proactive in supporting the conservation of the ocean and the protection of marine creatures, and participating in charity events for the conservation of ocean.

 

Mr. Romeo Jenny, the worldwide Chief Executive Officer of DOXA, and Ms. Patrizia Jenny, the Sales and Marketing Director have flown all the way from Swiss to Hong Kong to attend this meaningful event. Other guests include, Mr. Gordon Chow, President of Mira Watch International Limited,  ,Ms. Brenda Chow, the Vice-President, Mr.Allen Lau, Chief  Operation OfficerO Mira, Mr. Alex Fong, the brand ambassador for DOXA in the Asia-Pacific region, Ms. Lukian Wang, artist and model for the catwalk, and Mr. Timothy Ng, the Deputy Director of Ocean Park Conversation Foundation Hong Kong. Guests and media friends from Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Mainland China and Taiwan were all invited to this event and more than a hundred participants witnessed this splendid moment together.

 

DOXA has always been highly supportive to the conversation of the ocean, and this is also the reason why it has chosen the Grand Aquarium of Ocean Park to hold this press conference.. DOXA wants to express its concern to the conservation of the ocean, while at the same time to arouse the attention of the citizens to the issue, encouraging more participation from citizens, letting more citizens understand and concern about the recent situations of conservation of the ocean, and being supportive and cooperative in releasing creatures back to the ocean. Mr. Alex Fong strongly recognized DOXA’s charity action. Alex said, “I stopped eating shark fins more than 10 years ago. I sincerely believe that in fact everyone can contribute to the conversation of the ocean, even starting from small matter like refusing to eat shark fins, not throwing trash into the ocean etc. I am here to encourage everyone to pay our concerns to the conservation of the ocean, and protect the wonderful environment of the ocean together.”

 

The brand new images for the new series of DOXA printed advertisements were unveiled in the press conference. The creative was originated from the life of a successful celebrity who is seeking for an extravagant lifestyle, to deliver an attitude of passionate, serious, energetic and glamorous and a high living quality. Ms. Lukian Wang, leading a team of top models, demonstrated the outstanding quality of the DOXA watches with a catwalk performance.

 

The theme of “always wonderful” delivered the messages of the pursuit of quality of life, the passion towards live, and the positive attitude to live every second in glamour. The four pieces of advertisements perfectly illustrated how to live a life with quality and limitless wonders. This is interpreted by the images of leisure and enjoyment, pursuit of brilliance, love of sports and a sociable character.

 

The first advertisement image conveyed the character of the trendy and stylish Trofeo Collection with an image of simplicity and personality.

 

The second advertisement portrayed the magnificent GrandeMetre Collection with an elegant and polished image, to illustrate the pursuit of spiritual satisfaction and meaning of life.

 

The third advertisement expressed the respect and love to the partner, and a high quality social life with the classic Executive Collection.

 

The last advertisement was a sporty image of a diver, with a firm expression of the eye to illustrate the energetic Shark Ceramica 300XLCollection , to express the never-stopping attitude of a sportsman, and illustrate the attitude of a successful person craving for health and vitality.

 

Typical scenes of life were chosen and portrayed in the advertisement, to demonstrate how a successful person, with a passion towards life to embrace every brilliant moment. During the press conference, the fantastic advertisements, the catwalk model show and the energetic music altogether made our guests feel how wonderful living the DOXA moments is. Especially for the unveiling of the fourth advertisement, which was displayed by two divers under the water It brought our guests a big surprise and push the atmosphere to the climax.
